A pint-size thief

Vincent and I went to the shops today… Myer is currently having this massive sale, so we decided to check out the bargains. I put my bag down (between my feet) to try on a jumper, and this little kid tried to steal it!!!
I swear, this kid was only about 4 or 5 years old, and he tried to take my bag! I was so shocked…
And then he hung around for a couple of minutes, waiting to see whether I was going to put it down again, so that he could try and take it again. What a little bastard.
At the same time, it made me think “where is his mother”? I can’t understand it myself – this kid was really little =( It kind of makes you sad doesn’t it?

Golly gosh! Yeh after being angry about it you think about the reality of it and do feel sad for him huh?
Not enough to give your bag away though! I gotta hit Myer as well.

you should have grabbed him and taken him to the manager. see what he would have thought about that. LOL

Oooh. I love sales hahaha. But wow, that little kid. That’s horrible! Yeah, it makes me pretty sad that his parents can’t or don’t teach him otherwise….

It’s sad to think that a 4 or 5 year old would run around trying to steal people’s purses. But what can you expect if their parents are no where to be found? Obviously, they’re not around to teach their kids right from wrong. :(
