A really big week
Monday March 24, 2008

I haven’t updated all week… and I’ve been on leave. How slack is that? Lol. But then again, if I’m not at work, I just don’t feel like being on the computer. And I’ve had a ton of stuff to do this week.

On Monday I went shopping with one of my bridesmaids. The purpose of the hours that killed my feet, ankles and legs wandering up and down streets and shopping centres was to find Bridesmaid dresses.

Well, one day clearly wasn’t enough and even though I had a break on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and half of Saturday was also required. The most difficult part was finding a dress we liked that came in the right colour. I had decided early on that because of my bridesmaids’ availability (one lives overseas now) that pre-mades were the only way to go. It kind of sucks that we had to rush it, but I figure that since I work best under pressure…

The dresses we picked are Alfred Angelo, and the dress style is this one. The colour we have ordered them in is Dusty Rose.

Hmm… what else happened on this busy week? Oh, I went to the doctors on Tuesday and got my second Gardasil shot. It hurt like a mother b*tch. Darned doctor!!! What a bastard, jabbed me right between the muscle. Not in the fatty part of my arm, but somewhere where it would hurt for days and days. It’s still bruised!! And don’t even let me get started on the rest of the check up… All that matters is that I survived =)

And on Friday it was Good Friday. And that also happened to coincide with my birthday. We had a nice lunch at Vincent’s parents place, which my family was invited to. I had a really nice time, as did everyone else. It was fun and the food was great =)

And on Sunday we went to the beach and today to my parents place.

So yeh, busy week. I’m not looking forward to going back to work but I’ll take the good times with the bad. Lol.

I hope you’re all well, and that if you so happened to have time off over this weekend that you had a good time!

Well I’ll be, a bridesmaid dress that isn’t ugly (or is that just a stereotype?).

Hmm, I better get my Gard. shot but I hate shots (or needles for that fact).

What a beautiful dress! I’m sure your bridesmaids will be happy you didn’t pick some hideously colored or looking dress for them to wear =)

First off let me congratulate you on being engaged! It’s a wonderful thing.
I must say the dress that you all picked out is absolutely beautiful. I’m shocked at all the different selections designers have created for bridesmaids. When my sisters were married they all seemed so boring, and unflattering for the bridesmaids. Luckily I was the flower girl.

That bridesmaid dress is really cute. I’m going to be one soon (for my brother’s wedding) and I’m totally positive his fiancee will make me wear something appalling. You’re so nice for choosing something so pretty!! My Guardasil shots all hurt like hell too, I think they’re just really painful :(
