A waaay long time

It has been a while since I blogged, but I have a really good reason – I swear!
Vincent and I went on holidays! 1 month away travelling through Europe. A more details blog coming, but in summary we went to:
- Italy
- Germany
- France
- England
and then back through Hong Kong.
Italy was my absolute favourite place. I loved the food, the people, the language, the atmosphere… Vincent wasn’t as big a fan, but his favourite was France (closely followed by Germany).
And Hong Kong was good to both us. Mmm… food. Mmm… shopping.
The biggest news of the trip is that Vincent and I are now engaged. I was so surprised, and more surprised to find out that he had gone all old-school and asked my Dad for permission. How romantic =) Apparently he was quite scared to ask!
So we’re flying home tonight (at HK airport now). Vincent goes straight back to work on Monday and I go back on Wednesday. Not looking foward to it too much (still in Holiday mode) but we’ll see what happens.
Can’t believe that Facebook is being blocked by the net kiosk provider here…

Congrats on the engagement!!!! How did he ask?! The trip sounds FANTASTIC. I hope to do that one day.
I love that he asked your dad first. My fiance aske my mother first too and it brings a sense of tradition back to everything.
