Alive and kicking
Tuesday June 24, 2008

I am very very aware of the fact that I haven’t blogged in ages.

I am very very sorry =(

So what has been up in my life?

Well, I finished my study, and am now preparing to sit the exam (150 multiple choice questions, with an undefined pass mark – yikes). For those of you who don’t know, I am studying to become a Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM). Hopefully it will help me get a better and more well-paid job =)

I also got sick (again). Totally hammered with the flu over the last few months, and it came back again a couple of weeks ago, full force.

I found a new bridesmaid (don’t even get me started on why I needed to replace one… Sigh).

We booked a photographer for the wedding…

And finally, I finally went to see the doctor about depression.

The thing that I find is interesting is the fact that it’s so much easier to write that statement in a blog than it is to tell my friends and family. I told Vincent, but that’s about it. I guess I don’t want to burden them, or justify their fussing over me. Lol.

And also things between my Mum and I aren’t stunning right now. Nothing major, except she continues to try and interfere with the wedding preps and now she’s also trying to interfere with my relationship with Vincent’s parents. If she keeps it up I’m going to have to go tell Dad to tell her to back off (talk about playing parent against parent).

What else? Work is busy. The end of financial year this year is KILLING us. I swear, everyone is working OT… at least they’re getting paid for it (unlike all the other years previous), but the team is getting hammered.

And that’s about it really. I promise I’ll be more diligent with the blogging from now on. I might even post up some photos…

Take care!

Good luck with your exam (unless you’ve already taken it)! It sucks that you’re sick again, especially during such an important time.

My brother suffered from depression a few years ago, so I understand what you’re going through and what you mean by not wanting to burden your friends. However, it’ll make it a lot easier to get through the depression if you surround yourself with people who love and care about you.

    Congratulations on the wedding accomplishments!

Good luck with the wedding preps! My friend is getting married soon too and she’s all fretting over the details. Don’t let the wedding stress or your mom get to you!
