An interesting documentary!
Wednesday March 28, 2007

I went to the dentist again yesterday afternoon and had yet another filling. That makes a total of three in my mouth… hmm. I can’t understand it! I brush twice a day every day, and floss every other day. Obviously there is something lacking in my brushing “technique”. Lol.

Last week I told work I was getting sick due to the amount of time I spend in the office, so my manager and the resource co-ordinator have been so lovely and they’ve rearranged my schedule so that I have more time to focus on other (non development) responsibilities. Yay!

This means that today I have time to go to the gym (during work hours). Something I have not been able to do in about a year!

Last night I watched the most interesting documentary on TV, about a woman named Sibel Edmonds. Have you heard of her?

Apparently after September 11 she was hired by the FBI as a (contract) translator. Go here to learn more, or read the article David Rose wrote for Vanity Fair, here.

Anyway, I best get off to work. Take care!

Wanna know what’s funny? I have had 8 fillings & 1 root canal in the last 3 months… so I wouldn’t feel SO bad if I were you. lol

i’m sorry you had to get a filling, hun. although, i think the dentist’s office is just oodles of fun. all the tools they have there entertain me for hours. especially that little sucky thing. totally rad stuff. :)

I had either 8 or 9 cavities filled in January of this year, so I’d be totally happy if I only had 3.

Oh, wow, you were so stressed from work that you were getting sick?! That’s crazy. At least your boss gave you a better schedule, though.

Wow, I’d never heard of the lady. Or that the 9-11 attacks could have been prevented. I bet that documentary was good.

Wow. 3 fillings? Ouch. I had one in…oh, I think it was November-ish? I brush twice a day and floss as well but cavities just seem to love me. Or should I say my teeth?
Congratulations on getting your schedule rearranged! =)

Oh wow, I remember the last time I visited your blog you were talking about going to the dentist, too! That really stinks to have to go to the dentist that many times. I never enjoy trips to the dentist. I’m glad you were able to get your schedule rearranged, though. It sounds like it’s a good change! :)

She originates from Azerbaijan! FIFTY MILLION COOL POINTS FOR HER!

I haven’t visited the dentist in well over four years.

XD! I take good care of my teeth too. But, luckily, I’m blessed with nice teeth. No filling for Melinda :3.

I hate the dentist! I had a filling when I was little but haven’t had one since and I really think it’s cause of the way I brush. Really this is honest advice and not meant to be patronising, hehe – try brushing in circular motions rather than the typical up-down fashion as well as brushing behind your teeth. Works a charm and I always get complimented on my brushing by dentists LOL

Gaaah… I hate going to the dentist.. but my dentist is really nice.. I need to get a filling too but I just haven’t had the time. I have this big fear that my teeth would fall out even though I take good care of them. gaaaaaah.
