Another new girl!

Edit: We have a name! Our new girl’s name is Karamello (as in Caramello chocolate, or Caramello Koala, but with a “K”).
I’m meant to be doing work right now, but it’s really hard to concentrate, and here is why…
Yes, that’s right. Those first two are Holly, but the other two… they’re Holly’s new friend! Well, I don’t know about “friend”, as they’re still working out where they fit in each others lives, but they will be =)
We decided that Holly needed a friend to play with during the day while we were at work, and so we headed over to a Vet affliated with the Cat Protection Society to adopt a new kitty.
It was quite a gut wrencher. All of the kittens there were so beautiful and incredibly friendly, so it was difficult to choose (I wanted to take at least three of them home with me). Lucky there was only a limited choice!
We ended up taking the black, white and orange tortoiseshell female kitty home with us. She is a gorgeous contrast in colour to Holly, and their temperaments are similar. Also, they’re about even in size so if there is any fighting it will be quite even. It’s too bad those photos are so grainy of her, because you can’t really see her coat. Maybe tomorrow in the daylight.
Anyway, we haven’t named our new girl yet. Vincent has naming rights (as I named Holly – who by the way is now “Holly Berry”) but he wants to take his time. I’m all for “Shelley” or “Lily”, but we’ll see what happens =)

Cats are definitely very, very cute! And if they’re house trained, they’re very, very clean! Your kitties are adorable :) It really pushes me to want a cat of my own!

Awww Karamello is adorable! She looks so tiny and innocent. You just wanna pick her up and cuddle her. That was real nice of you guys to find a friend for Holly.
