Easter Break

I love long weekends! On Friday I went up with Jae and Chandan to my parents place. Bess has really grown up and while she’s still “mini” in comparison to an adult Golden Retriever she’s lost all her puppy fur, almost all of her puppy teeth and she’s almost 20 kilos!
Her favourite game when we’re staying there is “let’s run into the bedroom, steal some socks and bury them in the back garden”. Lol. Jae kept on leaving their bedroom door open, so Bess kept on racing in, stealing as many socks as she could find (yes, she even got the ones on top of the dressing table) and taking them out into the garden. Chandan spent around 30 minutes Saturday morning trying to “retrieve” his socks.
I really miss having a pet. Our fish at home is (I think) about to die. As morbid as that sounds – it’s around 2 years old and it’s the only one left – it just doesn’t look healthy any more. It’s a little lopsided now, and even though it eats well I don’t think that it’s all that happy any more.
When Vincent and I move out, I would really like to get a couple of rats but I don’t think that Vincent is into that idea… I just want something small and fury and cute and friendly =)
Anyway, I’m off. It’s Knights vs. Cowboys – the top two teams on the table right now – and the score is almost level with five minutes to go. How excitement =) Take care and I hope you all have/had a safe break.

well if you’re looking for a small, fury, cute and friendly pet a Chinchilla is the only way to go! They are so precious.

I hope that you can get a small and furry pet sometime soon. My fish died a week ago, but I had only had him for a month, not years! I have a turtle and two cats, though, so I should be okay :)

Small and furry and cute and friendly, eh? Why not a hamster? I think rats would be cute, too! =)
I think what Bess does by stealing socks is pretty cute. Although I am pretty sure the victim of theft would be amused, hehe! =)

lol at bess! she sounds so precious! perhaps another type of rodent will agree with vincent? does he like rodents at all??

Oh I love my fish and my cat :D But I can’t see having a rat :-/ But yah have fun at the game :D!

Whoa your fish lasted that long?! I could never have pulled that off.
Ha I understand with the sock thing, My cats always steal my hair scrunchies and bury it in their food bowls. Odd pets.

I love all of my pets to pieces. I would probably have a mental breakdown if I could never see them all again.
