I gots tha flu

It sucks so bad – I’m sick. And so is Vincent. And so are the kitties. We’re apparently a house of sick animals! It was so funny (in that weird kind of a way) – on Tuesday I took myself to the doctors and after that I took the cats to the vet. The vet was a ton better than the doctor that I went to see – I almost wished that she had been diagnosing me!
So I have the flu, which is rapidly turning itself into some kind of chest infection, Vincent has the onset of the flu, and the cats have the cat flu.
It’s actually quite cute. The cats are on antibiotics to stop any secondary infections and the antibiotic is a chocolate flavoured paste. Karamello loves it. I don’t need to do anything… just put it on my finger and she licks it off. Lol. Greedy guts.
Holly on the other hand hates it and refuses to open her mouth. I have to pry it open from the side, and then she introduces the claws… it’s a two person operation.
So I slept most of Tuesday and Wednesday, went back to work Thursday and Friday and slept most of yesterday (Saturday). Today I’m feeling a little better so woo me =)
I’m off now to try and clean up some of the house, but I just wanted to leave everyone with this… Chinese Crested-Chihuahua voted world’s ugliest dog. Lol. How cute is that?

I hate being sick! I hope you get better! Just stay home and relax on the computer haha. Giving pets medication can be difficult and painful for the both of you! Good luck!

Ooh, chocolate flavor! My cat would prefer turkey, though.
It must be cute/pathetic seeing them sneeze and whatnot.

Being sick is horrible, you get a day off but you don’t get to enjoy it. How horrible.

I hope everyone feels better soon. That’s so cool that the cat’s medicine is a paste. Getting my cats to take pills is a nightmare.

I remember having cough syrup that tasted awesome when I was a kid. I always remembered to take it, lol. Sorry to hear that you and Vincent (and the kitties) are sick. I hope that you two get better.

That dog is cute in a kind of scary way. He looks a bit like a gremlin.

I can;t stand cats. I think it’s because I’m half-scared of them. They’re too arrogant, not at all friendly and have the tendency to scratch. shivers
I love dogs though, but even if I was one, I’d also dub the Chinese-crested as one of the ugliest dogs in the world. lol
