It's that sick time of year I guess

Poor Vincent is sick – he seemed really terrible yesterday, so I left work early and took him to the doctors. The poor guy found it so difficult to get out of bed yesterday when I got home from work (to take him to the docs) and I felt so awful for him while we were waiting in the surgery.
Anyway, he has the day off today which is a good thing.
There have been so many people off sick lately. We have had two cases of the mumps, one person off with a middle ear infection and about 4 people off with plain old viruses. I think that people have been partying too hard lately =)
In other news… I was so shocked yesterday when I read that Steve Irwin (aka the Crocodile Hunter) died (article).
When one of my work mates told me I thought that he was joking… I guess in a way I’m not surprised because he did a lot of crazy things, and even though it’s really sad for his family, at least he died doing what he loved the best.

A log of people at my campus are getting sick. People who live in dorms had to get like extra of different shots >< I hope this Vincent guy feels better =]

Oh gosh yea, i was realy shocked when I heard the news. It’s sad but he was well aware of the dangers and risks of his profession. =(

I hope that Vincent gets well soon. and I’m still shocked over Steve Irwin’s death, he seemed so invincible! I loved his passion for everything in life.

Ay, well it is the beginning of the colder months so more people tend to get sick. I know. But you know. to me, Irwin was fucking around with fate too damn much. Finally she just got sick of it and he got what was coming. Nature doesn’t like a smart ass.—Soni

About Steve Irwin, my thoughts exactly. He had so much enthusiasm for what he did. He contributed so much to nature. But I feel sad for his family.
