March 21... a day of many events
Wednesday March 21, 2007

Today it’s Harmony Day, and the International Day for the Elimination
of Racial Discrimination
.

It is also the Autumn Equinox for we southies, and the Spring Equinox for all your northern hemisphere folk =)

Want to know what else has happened on this day?

On a more personal scale…

One year ago today I signed the contract to buy my apartment…

And in 1982, I was born. That makes me a rather large (oooh… I’m giddy with adulthood right now) 25 years old.

I don’t think that I feel ready to be 25… to me, 25 implies a level of experience and maturity that I don’t think that I have! Sure I’ve achieved things, but I still want my hand to be held.

Meh… I guess we have to grow up at some point.

A huge Happy Birthday to you! I guess we all have different standards, but I’m pretty sure that by most people’s accounts you make a damn fine 25-year-old.

A Happy Autumn to you as well. :)

Growing up…blah. Isn’t it funny how when you’re little, you always want to grow up. But once you grow up, you wish you were little again? =)

Happy birthday! I know it always seems like older people are so much more mature, but I’ve discovered that they’re usually just as insecure as you are, so don’t worry. 25 seems like a great age, enjoy it while you can!

    Quarterlife crisis :P

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you.

This is your birthday song, it isn’t very long, hey!

I think everyone feels they achieve things at different times. At the moment I am worried about being 20 since I just don’t feel ready, but I guess when you are older birthdays aren’t all fun and games, you have to grow old at some point.
